Security System Rescue Across 3 Buildings
ASAR International Corp.
Security Cameras · Access Control · Intercoms · Structured Cabling
PAX Security was brought in after a previous installer abandoned the job at ASAR International's three-building Staten Island campus. PAX salvaged and integrated existing cameras, upgraded the system, deployed Akuvox intercoms across two buildings, and secured 5 doors with access control.

The Challenge
What We Were Brought In To Solve
ASAR International's three-building campus on Wild Avenue had a partially installed camera system left incomplete by a prior contractor. Cameras across the buildings were disconnected, unconfigured, or broken. The new 495 Wild Avenue building had no intercom or access control at all. The client needed a single cohesive system across all three properties without scrapping the hardware that was already in place.
The PAX Solution
How We Delivered
PAX Security took over the entire campus. At 495 Wild Ave (new building), PAX installed a PAX NVR with 8TB storage, 9 new IP cameras, an Akuvox 4" vandal-resistant touchscreen door phone, 4 Akuvox 7" tenant monitors, and full access control on 5 doors -- including electromagnetic maglocks, an electric door strike, and a Bosch request-to-exit detector. At 491 Wild Ave, PAX salvaged 6 working cameras, repaired broken ones, added 2 new cameras, and installed a second Akuvox intercom system with 3 tenant monitors, running new cabling between buildings through existing conduit. At 425 Wild Ave, a wireless outdoor network bridge was used to tie the building's existing cameras into the unified DW Spectrum system. All three buildings now record to a single platform.
